Compare programs against the company’s current problem

RIPC notices include IP Didimdol (IP디딤돌), IP Narae (IP나래), Urgent IP Support (지식재산 긴급지원) and Global IP Star Company (글로벌 IP스타기업) programs. Compare the support needed for ideas and startup preparation, strategy for technology-owning companies, specific IP difficulties and overseas expansion. Detailed support and eligibility must be checked for each program, region and application round. Do not determine eligibility from the program name or company stage alone

A 2025 Hwaseong City notice states that the former IP Baro Support (IP바로지원) program was renamed Urgent IP Support. The 2026 Gyeonggi notices for IP Narae and Global IP Star Company set different requirements concerning company age, location or export plans. Use closed notices as examples of preparation materials, and check new notices for current application availability.

A company can organize its business registration information, technologies, patent application and registration status, customers, target markets and previous support received. Rather than merely aiming to add one patent, specify the technical, rights-related and management problems arising from the product and competitive environment; this makes the need for support clearer.

Distinguish the official support process from separate advisory services

Selection of government-funded service providers follows the regional center’s official procedure. Asking IRUMJAE for application preparation assistance is different from appointing it as a partner under a government support program. Work requiring patent application representation or a final assessment of rights needs a separate review of the patent office’s contractual scope.
